Description
The work is a representation of a kind of protest, which we have probably all used at some point! It is a non-violent protest and can even be funny!
Figurative expressionist or rather post expresionist work in which the attitude and mimicry of the character were pursued more than the physical details. To make it, multiple brush techniques, painting knife, but also pouring and splashing were used to create special fine art effects.
It is inspired by the ancestral culture and tradition of the Romanian masks used around the winter holidays, but also by the German masks used at traditional carnivals, especially in the rural area of Bayern and Baden Württemberg.
Abstract paintings signed “Gotschik” or “Roland-H. Gotschik ”can be found in private collections in Europe, America and Asia. Their resale value increasing significantly, even after only one year.
Important! After spreading the canvas on the wooden frame, please apply a bright transparent varnish layer (Firnis, Gloss, Vernis etc) on it. I didn’t do this because during the transport, which takes quite a long time, the canvas can stick and that would ruin the picture!
